downlineBefore you got into network marketing had you ever heard the term downline?

I know for a fact that I had never heard the term until I attended a meeting and got to see the compensation plan in action.

So what is a downline?

In the network marketing industry it’s the sales force of people that you bring into your MLM to help you share the companies message and make money.

In my personal opinion being part of a downline sucks. All I can picture is a person and a line between us. Almost a barrier of sorts.

I actually dislike the team downline. I feel like I am degrading people, you know, putting them down.

Why People Don’t Join Downlines

Let’s be honest, no one wants to join a downline. What they really want to join is….

And for most people it is a better way to do business.

How The Internet Can Help You Build Your Team

In the last 7 years that I have been in network marketing the internet has come a long way. When I started, Facebook was just a baby. We were still learning how to use MySpace.

From there we have seen new social media platforms pop up left and right.

Twitter, Facebook, Yelp, Four Square, Pintrest, Snap Chat, Instagram, LinkenIn, and the list goes on….

We have more ways to communicate than ever before. Which is why embracing the internet and using it to build your business is the smarter and faster way.

So why do top leaders still promote you writing down a list of people you know and harassing them about your opportunity?

When it’s so much easier to build a list of qualified people that want to join your opportunity by branding yourself on the internet. Becoming the go to leader in your opportunity.

With video, blogging, PPC, and PPV we can target more and more people that are LOOKING for an opportunity to join and a leader to work with.

It’s not enough just be part of a downline

It’s crucial to be part of a team and work with leaders that can show you how to embrace the internet and use it as a tool to generate leads and recruit more people.

If you would like to learn how to harness the power of the internet to build your team, I highly recommend getting your hands on the Attraction Marketing Formula.

You will see network marketing in a whole new light, because you have stepped out of the dark ages!

Once you discover that it’s more important to build brand YOU instead of your MLM company, you will begin attracting leaders and prospect to you.

I don’t know about you but I prefer to attract people to my opportunity as oppose to repelling them. The Attraction Marketing Formula will show you exactly how to do this.

I can relate to what you are saying in this. People are more responsive and happy to be part of a team instead of a downline (opps, I took that word out of my MLM dictionary today)… Great stuff! Enjoyed the read and the video!

Teams create excitement and joy. A downline just seems to be something that drags you down. That is my opinion and I am sticking to it! LOL! 🙂 Thank you for commenting Jaye. Always appreciate the value you add to my blog!
