Do you know the difference between Strategy Marketing vs Tactic Marketing?

Did you know as a network marketer we are not taught this by our company or even our upline? This is information you are going to have to search out for yourself.

I was lucky that at the beginning of my network marketing career I had access to the risk-takers, the doers, the pioneers of online marketing for our industry.

Today I bring that training to you. It’s Strategy vs Tactic and it is super important that you know the difference.

Both Types of Marketing Are Needed

The first thing you need to do is grab paper and pen. It’s time to write out your strategy.

What is Strategy Marketing

It is a plan of action. Some call it a S.M.A.R.T goal —

Specific – What is your action plan? What do you want to do? How will you do it?

Measurable – how many leads, sales, customers, or team members. You’ve got to have something to measure so that you know where you are at and where you are going.

Actions – What is the action you are going to take to get those results? What will you be doing each day?

Relevant – Does this align with your long-term goals and core value? (read time management for busy network marketers for goal setting and core values)

Time-Based – What is the time frame for this strategy? Week, Months, Days?

What is Tactic Marketing

In the world of marketing, there are thousands of tactics that you can you to achieve your strategy.

If you enjoy being on video, your tactic might be YouTube, Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, Pin Ideas… and the list goes on.

The tactic can vary but the strategy is still the same or varies a little depending on the digital media platform. This is why I always say… Learn one tactic and apply your strategy until you achieve a result. Then teach how you got that result to others.

This is the eternal secret to value marketing and building your network marketing business.
