Thank You For 1,000 Blog Comments!

1000 blog commentsThis post is for you. I want to take a moment and personally thank you for engaging and add value to my blog. Your comments have been inspiring, funny, engaging, and helped created this blog.

I am still in shock by reaching 1000 comments. It seems like just yesterday I put my head down and focused on blogging. Well, I guess that really is true.

Here is some behind the scenes info about my blog. I created it only 14 months ago. That is when I decided to begin building my brand and creating a blog to educate and entertain.

I realized that there are many of us that want to create a successful blog but just don’t know where to go and who to follow. I was in this very boat. It wasn’t until I got my hands on Elite Marketing Pro that I understood how to build my brand, this community, and blog for you.

Before Elite Marketing Pro I felt like I was writing to air. I had no comments for the longest time. I thought, if I write it, they will come. That didn’t happen. (eye roll)

So what changed? On June 1st, 2013 I decided that I wanted to focus on blogging, to the exclusion of everything else I was learning. I didn’t let myself get distracted by shiny new objects or courses. I went after the training that was going to add value to my readers.

I began investing in my education. I started reading books about building a better network marketing downline. I began investing in blogging courses and going to the library to do research. I was driven.

Now I don’t have the exact number of comments before June 1st, but I promise you it wasn’t more that a couple 100 or less. I didn’t have a huge following.

So in just a few short months you added mass amounts of engagement to my blog. You have commented, shared, and even asked thought provoking questions.

Some of you have become my online friends and I am blessed for that. You have added tremendous value to my blog and for that, I thank you.

Congratulations Katrina! This is a huge accomplishment. I have been so blessed to find so many wonderful people through UBC. I’m going to check out the other blogging resource you listed. Love the video. I need to just ‘do it’ and get more videos done myself. Congrats and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow. It’s interesting how we can feel connected to some people through their blogs as if we really know them. That’s the beauty of blogging and the internet!

      Thanks, Tandy

I actually had someone tell me that you can’t build relationships online. That it needed to be done face to face. I laughed to myself because I have met so many extraordinary individuals because of their blogs. Thank you for your continual comments and support of this blog community! You are a rock star Tandy! 🙂

Been researching but haven’t come up with many influential bloggers in my niche – women 40-60 who are prominent coaches, public figures, convention goers, lecturers, presenters, etc who wear and love BEADED Jewelry. Any ideas for me?

      • Katrina

Hey Roslyn! You have tons of mentors out there. They may not all love beads now.. but I am sure you can get them to change their mind. I found one lady that you might want to search out and follow. You never know. Geri Stengel Mentors are found everywhere, look for jewelry designers… I am sure you will find plenty of mentors there.
