Massive ActionIt’s the beginning of the new year and massive action is the hot term being thrown around.

“You need to be taking massive action in your business right now!” is what the guru’s are sayin.

So you think… massive action means hitting up every family or friend and posting like crazy for a day or two, maybe a week.

That’s massive action right?

But some time goes by and nothing comes of all the ‘massive action’ you took, so that didn’t work.

Does that mean massive action doesn’t work… or does it mean that you don’t really understand what massive action really is.

The Myth of Massive Action

Last month my business partner Doug DeMecurio and I were asked by What’s Working Now to do a training on what really works in building your business online. What is it we are doing exactly to generate 250+ leads and triple our affiliate income in just 60 days?

Happy to spill the beans Doug and I revealed exactly what we are doing… you can grab the replay of that training for $1 by grabbing What’s Working Now. You will find us in last months issue, December 2014.

I have to say, that for the most part massive action isn’t so massive. It’s actually pretty un-massive.

What most people don’t understand is that massive action is actually consistent action over a long period of time.

Some would call this compound marketing and a great book to read on this is called the The Slight Edge: Turning Simple Disciplines into Massive Success and Happiness.

This book had the single greatest effect on my mindset and how to really start building my business.

What this book planted in my head, was that it was daily action that was going to build my business, not massive action.

Though after a year of daily action… that year now looks like massive action.

So I guess you can say massive action looks massive only after you take consistent daily action.

Did that make sense?

Profitable Massive Action

Over the course of last year, I learned a few things. One of the most important things I learned is that there are things that you need to be doing daily that create the profit you are looking for.

Many of us get sucked into the world of the internet, only to be posting and play but maybe not doing the actions that over time are actually going to pay us.

As many of you know Doug and I created a 60 Day Fast start challenge for an affiliate company that we are part of. It’s called Elite Marketing Pro and is my lead generation system. This is where we generated over 250+ leads and tripled our affiliate income.

During this challenge Doug and I create a weekly profit producing checklist. This was a weekly accountability sheet we created that only had profit producing activities on it. Actions that you needed to do daily to start generating leads and converting those leads into buyers or distributors for your network marketing opportunity.

It listed about 10 action producing activities and I will share a few with you. To gain access to the entire sheet you are going to have to join me in Elite Marketing Pro and I will even give you access to the 60 day recorded training.

  1. Personal Development (MLM Leaders Read Series)
  2. Create A Blog Post
  3. Create Social Media Posts Using the 14 rule guideline

What is the 14 rule guideline for posting on social media? Great question!

As we all know we love to be entertained by social media and we really don’t search social media for buying into a business or product. So the rule goes something like this.

– 10 posts that should be entertaining or interesting

– 3 posts that are industry related

– 1 post that hard sells.. JOIN MY TEAM!

If you can follow that simple rule… you will begin to create massive action.

Just remember this… Massive Action is the accumulation of daily action taken over a long period of time.

Very Informative post. Before you can take massive action, how do you judge a Network Marketing companies compensation plan?

      • Katrina

Hi Dwight! I have yet to come across a company that had a horrible compensation plan. I tend to look for leaders and trainers in a company that had products I can get behind. I am not into travel so that type of MLM would not interest me. So you have to have something that you would like to promote and share.

Find the right company and you will get paid IF you are willing to put in the long term time and effort. 🙂

Well…have you ever gotten that feeling, while reading a blog post, that the whole post was directly about you?! If so, I believe this means two very important things.

      1. You better listen up, take the advice and run with it immediately. (I listened, took and WILL apply)

      2. The Author of said post has a massive profitable daily action SKILL of learning her targeted audience’s needs :)..which takes time.

      I agree with you Katrina… 🙂

You are the first true leader, in the MLM/Network Marketing Industry, that I know of who really brought clarity to the REAL meaning of Massive Action. I honestly want to go back and ask every ‘Guru’ why they did not take the time to explain to me, as you just did in 5 minutes, the truth of their statement…’Massive Action’!

The clarity you just gave everyone has been needed for a long time. No wonder why so many people simply give up!

I can see now that profitable massive action even starts from day one of planning or setting our goals.

Thank you so much for the insight you put into this post. You always give without any fluff or hype. I’m ready to ROCK 2015…Anyone else ready as well?

      • Katrina

Brad, Massive action is just taking action. So few do it over a long period of time because they don’t see immediate results. But results show up when you are consistent or are paying for traffic. LOL! Have a blessed day!

    • I remember the first time I heard that term Massive Action. I had almost 100 posts in one day. Then the next was 75 and you know it’s going. Then I realized the secret to massive action is being consistent. Thanks for the reminder.

      • Katrina

Hilary, you are a shining example of massive action. Over the last 8 months I have see you grown and be open to learning new things. You take action even if it isn’t perfect and I can’t wait to see what 2015 has in store for you! Keep moving forward my friend!

Thank you so much for your comments on my blog!

I’ll be honest – I’d rather be a chef at Disney World than an MLM Marketer, so I didn’t understand half of what you said. 🙂

I’m kidding about not understanding it – I remember when my grandfather sold Amway. I’m just not any good at sales, and not particularly driven to be. (Although it would be nice if more people bought my books, and I realize that doesn’t happen without SOME marketing effort!) I’m glad to see the “14 Rule Guideline” (how can it be a rule and a guideline at the same time??) – with emphasis on giving readers something interesting or entertaining most of the time, useful in the industry a good chunk of time, and balancing that with the hard sell only 1/14th of the time. Gives me hope that the world isn’t going to heck in a $47 handbasket while we sleep! Gives me hope that all writing isn’t being reduced to a simple formula that can be done by a bot, too. As a writer, I find that immensely comforting! 🙂

Do drop by and visit my blog again – you’re very welcome there.

      • Katrina

Hi Holly! LOL, I am now going to have to make that change on my post. It is more of a guideline than a rule. Just trying to get network marketers to see that posting just about your business is not what people want to see.

As for being a Chef with Disney… I will take MLM any day of the year… but that is a post for another time. 🙂

    • I haven’t heard of the 14 rule guideline before. I’m not sure what my hard sell post would be, but I’m going to try it out! Thank you for the tips. I shared your post on twitter!

Hi Carrie! Good to see you again! Just have some fun with your posts. I grabbed hold of strange things made with bacon and I run with that daily. I try to find something bizarre and I add that to my daily post. As for a hard sell, if you can get people to give you an email address or sign up to get access to your blog… that would also be considered a hard sell. You could also call it a “call to action” post.

Looking forward to see you again. Happy New Year!
