MLM Hot Topic: How to Drive Traffic to Your Blog

How to drive traffic to your blogThe question has always been how do you drive traffic to your blog?

The old idea of, if you write it they will come is now really out of date. Once you write your post you now have to socialize it.

You can’t rely on just keywords and some lengthy blog post to get you in front of your audience. With all the changes to Google search engine it’s now about being social. You have got to get your blog out to your fans. You have to create the article that both your fans and the search engines love and that is always a delicate line.

With the Google release of Hummingbird, which is an intuitive search engine, how to drive traffic to your blog is about now, how would people search it? What are people asking Google to find for them through speech. Now it is more about questions and finds.

So the more social you get with your blog the better your rankings and the better chance you have of being relevant in the searches.

One of my favorite social helpers for driving traffic to your blog is Onlywire.com. This particular site helps you set up all your accounts for all the social sites. Then once you post a blog, Onlywire is notified and they send the post out to all your social site.

A great animation tool and one that will keep you from going crazy trying to do everything yourself. Sometimes you need help.

Another tool I recommend for learning how to drive traffic to your blog is tribes.

One tribe that I use and can recommend in a heartbeat is TribePro. This community has allowed me to find tribes that are similar to what I blog about and syndicates me. The purpose of the tribe is to share your content and then I reciprocate by doing the same.

Now my reach is beyond my circle of influence and into the circles of others. I can’t begin to tell you how powerful this is. There is a free version but I am telling you the paid is where the magic happens.

In reality it is up to you to make sure that you are using both keywords, phrases, and being social. You can pay for traffic or you can reach it organically. I enjoy building my community and interaction with all you amazing blogger, network marketers, and home business owners.

I hope you got some value and some new training tools to help grow your business.

This post is timely. I have not heard about TribePro. I will definitely have to check this one out. I recently switched from a hosted blog to a self-hosted blog and I will now have to gain new followers. Hopefully this will help! Thank you!

Jewel the best decision you ever made was switching to a self-hosted blog. Now you own real estate online! Priceless! Let me know if I can help you with anything.

Thank you, Katrina. I will look into this. It’s great to be part of the community of bloggers, but actually finding folks who are in your niche market (in my case, folks who are gluten free). This is quite another thing.
      Have a happy Thanksgiving.

Hey Barbara, I know there are tons of blogs on Gluten Free eating. 11 years as a Chef and many gluten free meals allows me to say that. I know you will find your community.
