How to Add YouTube Video to Your Blog

How to Add YouTube Video to Your Blog

Discover how easy it is to add YouTube Video to your blog.

If you don’t think video is for you I recommend rethinking that for your audience. There are some great videos that you can share that don’t even have you in them. (in case you are camera shy)

Why should you add YouTube video to your blog?

For some of your readers they like watching a video over reading. For some of your readers they prefer to read over watch. And if you have someone that just likes to listen then can do that also.

Giving your reader the option is best for your blog. Remember it’s not about you but how you are helping your fans. Give them the choice.

One of the best recommendation I got in a comment was… Can you transcribe your video?

This person was obviously a reader and really wanted to the information, but just didn’t want to listen to the video.

This was a valuable comment to me and since then I have done my best to recap what is in the video.

So How to Add YouTube Video to Your Blog

Couple of things you need to remember.

1. When adding the embed code to your blog make sure you are under the text tab.
2. Make sure you are using the right size video for your blog post.

When all is said and done you have a great post and a video to enhance the content you provide.

You won’t believe how adding video can increase your blog viewing. Go ahead, test it out! Let me know how it works for you.

Did This Help You? If so, I would greatly appreciate if you commented below and shared on Facebook and/or Google+.

LOL, I never thought I would become a techie… technology scared me for so long. I feared doing anything online. So have fun and learn as you go! Let me know when you start adding video!
