Can I let you in on a little MLM leader secret?
Your network marketing opportunity is not your brand. Your brand is actually… YOU!
So many network marketers join their business and then go out and create fan pages and business cards with their company brand. Doing NOTHING to separate themselves from the masses of distributors just like them.
And it’s not your fault. Most of the time network marketers don’t know any better. We are told to make a list and the rest we have to figure out.
But I want to let you in on the secret to building your brand online for your MLM.
What MLM Leaders Know
The Real Secret MLM Leaders Discovered
Here are some questions you have to ask yourself if you are looking to build your brand online.
- Does your MLM have a logo?
- Does your MLM have a website?
- Does your MLM have a blog?
- Does your MLM have marketing material?
If you answered yes to all 4 of these questions, then you brand is not you mlm.
There is absolutely no reason what-so-ever to use your mlm company to build YOUR brand. Please do not make up branding names that include your company.
What I am telling you, are the EXACT same mistakes that I made and had to correct. I lost thousands of followers because I had to close down web pages, fan pages, and it’s a pain in the butt to rebuild. Just saying.
What top MLM leaders will tell you is that your purpose with your MLM is to become a spokes person. Your job is to inform and teach others about you product or opportunity.
Eric Worre calls it information marketing. All you have to do is share information about your company. No need to get fancy. You can share your story of why you joined. Share 3rd party stories. Do comparisons between products. Simple things like that.
The True Secret MLM Leaders Know
Invest in yourself. Invest in your personal development. Invest in training and coaches. Increase your net worth to yourself and your team. The more you learn, the more you can share.
The more you share, the more your team grows. The more your team grows, the more financial freedom you will have.
MLM leaders know that if they invest in themselves that they become more valuable to prospects and other leaders. People will join MLM leaders that continue to educate themselves because they know that they will reap some of that knowledge also.
Don’t you want to align with leaders that can show you how to create success and give you the shortcuts to get there? They have already gone through the hard work, and usually they don’t want people to struggle as they did, so they are willing to share their knowledge for the cost of joining them in their MLM. A very small investment to make.
And if you don’t want to join their MLM but still want their coaching, find out if they are willing to coach you. You may be surprised.

Thanks, Katrina! This was definitely an Ah-ha moment for me. I’ve heard you talk about branding but for some reason I was thinking it had to be gimmicky or clever. Yours is awesome and I was thinking, “what about me can I brand with a little logo like Recipes for Blogging with Chef Katrina” . But I guess it doesn’t really have to be all that catchy. Today’s posting was really helpful for me.
Hey Sandra! Branding is all about being you. Stay true to yourself. You are beautiful and unique. Find your voice and people will follow.
I knew it is important to brand myself, and in your video and content, you give some of the best reasons why I have ever heard. I’ve heard other leaders talk of it, but never explain why in this much detail, so I seen many of my team not worry with self branding. Great topic and post for the day!
Hi Jaye! Love that you got some value from today’s post! You are amazing!
