text hyperlinkLet’s face it, at some point we were all newbies online.

For those that don’t know, before I became an internet marketer I was a Chef in the kitchen for over 12 years. I knew how to turn on a computer, check email, and google search recipes.

Beyond that the world of internet marketing and social media was a foreign land that made zero sense.

When I decided to start blogging it was an uphill struggle. I didn’t understand any of the lingo.

What the heck was a…

  • Widget
  • Hyperlink
  • Theme
  • Plugin
  • Side Bar
  • Above the Fold
  • Landing Page
  • Optin Offer
  • and the list goes on…

I was like a fish out of water. What the heck had I gotten myself into. Blogging turned out to be a little bit more technical than I expected.

There were times when I sat in front of my computer and wanted to throw it across the room. It was a slow and frustrating process learning how to blog. But on the flip side once I got it all figured out, it made perfect sense.

Now what use to take hours now takes me about 30 minutes.

It’s the moment of learning something new and thinking, “it has to be easier than this”, what am I missing. Just know that as a blogger we all start off frustrated and anyone that says differently, is lying!

So that ties into some basic training that I want to share with you today.

Creating a Text Hyperlink

So the basic reason to create a text hyperlink is hide a URL.

Could you image reading a blog post with a sentence like this in it.. Or maybe you have…

ex. So if you are interested in learning more about this blogging offer head over to ‘www.theoffer.com/whatever/tryme’ to get your hands on this free video training.

First off, it doesn’t read great and isn’t very eye appealing. And if there was more than one link presented during this blog post, things could get ugly.

So in today’s training, I want to show you how to create a text hyperlink to create a more seamless read for your fans.

So creating a text hyperlink is pretty simple as you can see in this video. You will also notice that I have created a few text hyperlinks in this blog post, so you get the idea of how to use them in a none ugly way.

Blog Help Tip

You don’t know what you don’t know, is what I tell my blogging clients.

If you’ve never blogged before don’t expect to become an expert overnight. There is going to be a learning curve but if you still with it, it does become easier.

In the beginning I thought I could learn this whole blogging thing on my own. I spent countless hours frustrated and confused. I wasted so much time and money because I didn’t take the time to invest in myself and courses that would have answered many of the issues I struggled with.

Once I started doing my homework and getting my hands on blogging courses and training, blogging got a whole lot easier.

Which is why once I got my blog up and stared generating leads and having some success, I went to work creating a blogging course. I called it Blogging Ingredients.

A step by step self paced video training course that shows you exactly how to build your blog and make it profitable.

And because I know you don’t have hours to spend watching training, I made sure all my training videos are 5 minutes or less. Making it easy to go through the content and reference certain aspect of it again.

Heck, being a Chef could be one of the reasons, this course is so successful. It lays out the exact recipe for creating a blog and making money online. Two things I know you are excited to learn.

So if you want to learn how to blog for profit, then I recommend checking out this free video training I have done for you.

If you got value out of today’s blog post, please share. Also like I stated in the video, what other training would you like to see on blogging? Comment below.

Yours in Gratitude,

Chef Katrina van Oudheusden

Chef on Stage at NES6
