Blog Help for Self Hosted WP Blogs
I will be the first to admit it, sometime I just need some blog help. The rules of blogging are constantly changing and you need to keep up.
With that being said I have been studying and learning how to build a successful blog for the last 5 years. I bought courses, attended meetings, and have tried to learn everything I could about creating a successful blog. Still learning actually. 🙂
Over the pass 7 months I have been passing on this knowledge in my blog post and on social media. I have even created the hashtag #bloghelp as my signature. If you are ever on Twitter or Social Media, I am always searching that hashtag, looking to give help, input, or point you in the direction you need.
My primary focus has always been on self hosted WP blogs, so if you are looking for blog help with a free blogging platform like Blogger, wordpress.com, or any of the other free blog sites… I am not your gal.
After playing on those site for about a year I realized that they didn’t offer me the freedom I need to really build my business and….
I violated a term of agreement on one of the sites… Kinda how I discovered real fast what a self hosted blog was.
When you own your own Real Estate Online (your blog) it can never be taken away from you. You don’t have any rules to live by but your own and you can create your blog to really reflect who you are.
One of my favorite features of having my own website is having my own email address. I like giving people my email now. Why… because they’re going to check out the site and learn even more about me. It adds a layer of professionalism to any business.
Which one looks better to you?

Back to Blog Help
There are tons of blogger out there that are amazing! I follow quite a few of them but the bloggers I really admire and follow are the ones that share other peoples blogs and are willing to help and give direction.
For me, it’s the bloggers that give that keeps my attention. Is it the same for you?
Realizing that there is more to blogging than just blogging, like SEO, on page SEO, Pictures, Images, plugins, themes, categories, authorship and soooo much more. It can seem a bit overwhelming. So having someone to ask can make all the difference in the world.
So that is what I am putting out there… If you have a blog question and ask it on twitter with #bloghelp I will answer. Does this help you?
And then if push comes to shove you can access my private training through my Blogging Ingredients course.
***Did This Help You? If so, I would greatly appreciate if you commented below and shared on Facebook and/or Google+.***

Hi Katrina,
You bring up a good point about comparing a blog to real estate. What a blog really boils down to is that it’s pretty much an asset. I know that many people will disregard that but having a blog is probably one of the most valuable tools you can have to build your business. That is why you never know if your Facebook or Youtube account gets shut down, then what? At least this way, you have your own platform and it will never shut down, unless you do! Great post!
Brilliant insight as always Nate. A blog is your home. Those that over look it are missing out on so much. 🙂 It is a platform that will never be shut down. 🙂 Love it!
